There once was a woman who touched our lives with her beautiful spirit, soul, and caring personality. April Morlen McCarty was that one person for me. She was a woman who endured a great deal of pain because of her horrific bone disease, but yet still managed to be an incredible mother, wife, and a true friend of mine. April was the woman who lifted my spirit up when I was down by just writing something as simple as a message on myspace. Looking back, I first met April at Chris's house. I was introduced to her by my sister Tiffany. I remember the first thought that crossed my mind that day, "This woman is ill but yet she continues to smile, that's amazing"..not to mention she's funny as hell..how many of us can say that for ourselves.April was a firecracker, someone who continued to make me laugh because of her witty personality, and "I dont give a damn pride" April always treated me as if we had known each other our whole lives.I am honored that I was able to develop such a close friendship with such a remarkable woman.I find comfort because I Believe in my heart..just as the song says..April flew up to heaven flew on the wings of angels By the clouds and stars and passed where no one sees And she walks with Jesus and her loved ones waiting And I know she's smiling saying Don't worry 'bout me..April- I love you, I miss you, and I can't wait to see you again in heaven.
